I know from experience how time-consuming, expensive, and stressful it can be to learn Dutch—especially when your career depends on it.
Since 2020, I have followed many courses and studied many dutch langauage textbooks from organisations such as Intertaal, Boom, Coutinho and BLC, followed online and in-person lessons, and learned a great deal through my own job in the Netherlands. I kept collecting, practicing and creating the vocabulary, sentences and situations I needed in a professional environment.
Eventually, I turned all of that experience and material into my book, Zakelijk Nederlands Leren – De Taal van het Werk.
But I wanted more than a book. I wanted users to be able to listen and practice pronunciation, so I created the audiobook. Then I created simple explanation videos to help learn the concepts easier. And finally, I brought everything together in an online app so one can learn on their phone using the Kajabi app whenever they get the time.
I created this course to help other professionals like me learn the dutch office language faster and understand the cultural aspects of the workplace so they can communicate confidently and build their careers in the Netherlands.

Pilotprogramma & ontwikkeling van het lesmateriaal
Het lesmateriaal is in de praktijk getest en verder ontwikkeld binnen een pilotprogramma met statushouders, gezinsmigranten en Oekraïense professionals van de Gemeente Rotterdam.
De pilot biedt de mogelijkheid om het materiaal in de praktijk te testen, feedback van deelnemers te verzamelen en te kijken waar deelnemers tegenaan lopen. Op basis hiervan zijn de structuur, uitleg, oefeningen en praktische werksituaties verder verbeterd.
Zo ontwikkel ik het programma stap voor stap tot een praktische en toegankelijke leermethode die aansluit bij de taalbehoeften van anderstalige professionals die zich voorbereiden op of deelnemen aan de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt.
